Nov 13, 2016- Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has said the constitution would enter the full phase of implementation after its amendment.
Addressing a programme organised here to felicitate democratic fighter and NC district leader Mohani Prasad Poudel on Sunday, President Deuba said three major political parties were busy discussing to find a smooth way for the constitution amendment.
People's long aspirations for promulgating the constitution on their own were addressed on the day of September 20, 2015 and the need of the country is to drive it towards the path of progress and prosperity by ensuring the meaningful implementation of the constitution, he added.
The NC President underscored, "The need of the hour is to rise above the party interests, shunning allegations and counter-allegations because the country is in crisis and in collective defense."
